It appears that this module bypasses the other caching system of XOOPS. You can configure the length of time for caching at the beginning of the script. This is truly a hack and requires a patch any time you update XOOPS pages, especially the mainfile.php (which rarely happens if ever) and include/functions.php. Supposedly it reduces your CPU hit but at the expense of HD space.
